The turbulent times we are witnessing in Bangladesh is unprecedented in the history of our Nation. The fear and trepidation escalated with the breakdown of the law enforcement apparatus added uncertainty. In such precarious times, Communities react to manage the crisis. One of the most positive shifts noted in the history of the Private Security Services Industry in Bangladesh was the spontaneous assistance of Security Companies coming to the aid of civil society. Security Companies took to the streets coordinating manned security detail, assisting volunteers on traffic management and 24 hours mobile Security Patrol of areas.

BPSSPA members provided Patrol Vehicles & motorcycle teams to aid Community Police Volunteers, through the day and especially during the nighttime vigilance as well as mobile motorcycle teams. Gulshan , Baridhara, Banani & Niketan Societies expressed heartfelt gratitude not realizing how effective the role of Private Security Companies has become in our daily lives. Similarly societies around the country have begun to work closely with security companies and this will go on until law and order is once again restored.

The President of Bangladesh Professional Security Service Providers Association (BPSSPA) extends gratitude and thanks to those security companies that are continuing the effort and for enhancing the image of our industry . Security services has always been on the lowest level of priority until a situation arises and this crisis has reaffirmed the faith in our industry to the level that the law enforcement agencies have taken note and appreciated the all out efforts.

The following security companies must be commended for their role and they are : Elite Force, Securex, Eurovigil, G4S, Garda Shield, Punarbhaba Security Services , Ornate Security Services , Security 360 , there are other companies too which the BPSSPA is unaware , hopefully their names will be put forward too. The people of Bangladesh are resilient, strong and together we can build  the Nation once again .
